analog |ˈanlˌôg; -ˌäg| (also analogue)
adjective

Guidelines
Explore issues relating to perception, creation or mediation that take as a starting point either ‘the digital’ or ‘the Analog’ and then explore its complement. This could be done in one image or over many images. The goal here is to think about both ideas, how they relate to each other and to us.
This project is a conceptual one. The goal is not to illustrate one with the techniques of the other, but to try and understand what those two terms mean in their broadest sense. I am looking for an understanding of these terms that does not come from the dictionary but from the art world, philosophical theory, or any other theoretical field that deals with the problematization of these (or related) concepts.

Again, I am not looking for a judgement of one over the other, or a romantic defense of one of them. I would like to see a playful or critical engagement with the notion of what the words or concepts mean to you.
